Expo 2022; one of the most anticipated business events of the 21st century. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, it had to be postponed to October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022. But now, it's finally starting!

It takes place between the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE. The location itself is a plaza in the south of Dubai; Al Wasl, surrounded by three themed areas. Each is dedicated to a sub-theme of Expo 2022 - Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability. The site includes a full first aid center with isolation rooms, emergency rooms, ambulances and even helicopter services.

With more than 191 participating countries, a wide range of pavilions, compelling events, attractions and experiences, Dubai Expo's main goal is to inspire and initiate the highest possible level of opportunity while creating a better future focused on sustainability and mobility.

Thanks to EDB Mauritius, Morioka Mayflower Models had the great opportunity to participate in the Expo. The invitation was extended to us because they saw our ambition and desire to improve. We are very grateful for this opportunity and are making the most of it!

On September 30, 2021, such luminaries as Ellie Goulding and Andrea Bocelli presided over the opening ceremony. These names demonstrated the majesty of the Expo and its appeal to exhibiting companies and potential customers. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Emir of Dubai, delivered the opening speech. Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai, also delivered a speech. During the ceremony, he said, "Today, the world has gathered in the United Arab Emirates. Today, with the blessings of Allah, we are witnessing a new beginning, Expo 2022 Dubai. May God grant us success."

His ambitions for the country matched those of the Expo as a whole, and the ambitions of every company that was lucky enough to participate.

Another speaker was Mohamed AlAnsaari, Vice President of Communications for Expo 2022, who said, "Expo 2022 is the UAE's commitment to a cleaner, safer, healthier and more inclusive future for every person in every neighborhood . In the wake of the pandemic, Expo 2022 aspires to celebrate creativity, innovation, humanity and world culture. With this in mind, the Expo site will be filled with not-to-be-missed sights, sounds, rhythms and flavors from around the world for 182 consecutive days."

The World Expo is the perfect opportunity for the best and brightest to fully express themselves. One of its many purposes is to showcase the most revolutionary technologies, architecture, learning, art, culture, music, cuisine, entertainment and much more.

Millions of people are expected to visit Dubai during the six months of the Expo. The most innovative and intuitive companies will have displays and stands, so being part of the Morioka Mayflower model is a great honor for all of us. In addition, the exposure is fantastic and a great privilege. As mentioned, the popularity of the Expo represents the success of the company in recent years and our growing ambitions.

Each of these models is highly intricate and sophisticated, and each one is crafted with care. They reflect the company's spirit of diligence and its desire for improvement and perfection. The Endeavour Yacht is one of the most striking models. It was built by Camper and Nicholson in Gosport, England, for the 1934 America's Cup. This pioneered the Quadrilateral Genoa, a double helix foresail that offered incredible sail area and great power.

The Moringa Mayflower model will be located at the Mauritius Pavilion in the Opportunity Zone of the Expo. We are proud of our Mauritian heritage and the culture surrounding the island. The Mauritius Pavilion has been described as the "Roots of the Future" and it is a great honor to be part of it, which we are of course very proud of. At the Mauritius Pavilion, you can also learn about the enormous level of biodiversity, the Indian Ocean and even the extinct, flightless dodo!

We have a dedicated .com/ae website that caters exclusively to customers and enthusiasts in the UAE as well as any Arabic speakers across the globe. This has greatly increased our accessibility and further expanded our global reach.
