Italian Marine Group Announces Collaboration Between Perini Navi and Malcolm McKeon

The Italian Marine Group (TISG) has announced a new collaboration between Perini Navi and Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design, starting with the design of a 56-meter catamaran.

The catamaran will mark the start of a new range of Perini Navi sailing yachts designed by Malcolm McKeon, ranging in length from 47 to 74 meters.

The full line, which will be launched in January 2023, has been designed to maintain "the most iconic stylistic features of the Perini Navi fleet" while adding modern elements and sustainable innovations wherever possible.

The 56-meter model will have a fluid layout that favors soft lines, open spaces and large windows to maximize connection to the water. The carbon rig and sail plan will work with Perini Navi's sail handling system to centralize sailing maneuvers and servo aids at two control stations on the flybridge.

The new range of sailing yacht designs confirms the progress made by TISG in developing the Perini Navi brand, which was acquired less than a year ago. Giovanni Costantino, Founder and CEO of TISG, said, "In recent months we have assembled a highly specialized technical team of sailboat designers dedicated to the entire production of Perini Navi."

Malcolm McKeon says the designs will "build a successful future for this iconic sailing superyacht." He added: "While retaining some of the most recognizable Perini design features, our collaboration will see the exterior design evolve and enhance with a new interior layout and noteworthy performance to match."

Costantino also hinted at the upcoming launch of the "New Maltese Falcon", which aims to be as innovative today as the 88-meter Maltese Falcon she launched with a greater focus on ecological competence.
