Turkish shipyard Magnolia Yachts has debuted its newly delivered 24-meter pocket superyacht Magnolia One.

The model is the first vessel to be launched by the Istanbul shipyard and features a neo-classical design inspired by traditional trawlers, with exterior design and naval architecture by Taka Yacht Design. She is built in laminated Acajou mahogany with a dark green hull and wood trim for window frames, rub railings and sunbathing platforms.

Wide side decks wrap around the superstructure to form a fully wraparound main deck. Slightly curved beams fold down and serve as multi-purpose platforms on the lifting mechanism, which can be used as waterside lounging spaces, passageways and cranes for loading items.

Guests coming up from the swim platform are welcomed by a shaded cockpit with U-shaped seating around a table seating 12 guests. A secondary outdoor dining space and adjacent bar are located on the sundeck under a Bimini-style parasol, with an open aft deck serving sunbathing and storage. The centerpiece is a unique skylight that lets natural light into the main salon below.

The entire Owner's Suite accommodates a total of six guests, with the front VIP and one twin both on the lower deck. The crew cabin is also on the lower deck and consists of two single cabins. All guest cabins, including the crew, are ensuite.

The midships owner's cabin makes full use of the ship's 6.4-meter beam with dark wood floors, natural light oak furniture and white satin paint - a theme that runs throughout the ship's interior.

The pilothouse was an important part of the design process, featuring a central ship's wheel and navigation station, and access to the foredeck through port and starboard doors. A second cruise ship station is located above the flybridge.

There is a separate corridor between the flybridge, pilothouse, galley, crew mess, cabin and lounge that the crew can use without compromising the privacy of the owners.

Power comes from two Cummins 610HP QSM11 engines with a top speed of 14 knots and a range of 2,200 nautical miles (9 knots). Tenders and toys are stored aft on the upper deck and deployed using an 800 kg telescopic crane.

Also underway at the Istanbul Shipyard is a 40-meter Explorer called Magnolia Two, designed by Gregory C. Marshall.
