Bodrum-based shipyard Aegean Yacht has taken delivery of the first unit in its 26-meter Aegean Explorer series.

Named Ukiel, the yacht was launched to specification and sold upon completion of popular works. She marks the yard's first delivery to the Aegean Yachts brand since 2015.

Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the Ukiel has a gross tonnage of 187 GT. she is powered by conventional MAN engines and has a maximum speed of 12.7 knots and a range of over 3,500 nautical miles. Other key figures include a beam of 6.9 m and a draft of 2.1 meters.

The yacht can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in a configuration that includes "three master suites", a VIP and two twins on the lower deck. The four crew members are accommodated in four single cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms.

The yacht's design and naval architecture have been completed in-house. Ukiel is characterized by a sturdy, explorer-style exterior with a gray hull, lead bow and low profile. Inside, the design team used warm oak, elegant parquet floors, stainless steel trim and white painted ceilings.

As far as outdoor space is concerned, the yacht benefits from a spacious swim platform, an optional shaded cockpit dining arrangement and an upper deck lounge space with loose furniture.

The second hull in the Aegean Explorer series is currently under construction and is scheduled to launch in late summer 2023. Her construction is based on speculation.
